Terms & Conditions

1. Participation & Eligibility

  • Golfstars sessions are open to children within the stated age ranges for each programme.
  • All children must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Golfstars reserves the right to move a child to a more suitable group where necessary for safety, development, or enjoyment.

2. Health, Medical & Additional Needs

  • Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, behavioural needs, or additional support requirements at the point of booking.
  • Golfstars cannot be held responsible for issues arising from undisclosed information.
  • It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure their child is fit to participate.

3. Safeguarding & Behaviour

  • Golfstars operates strict safeguarding policies in line with UK regulations.
  • All coaches are appropriately trained and DBS checked.
  • Children are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, other participants, and equipment.
  • Golfstars reserves the right to remove a child from a session if behaviour compromises safety or enjoyment. No refund will be given in such circumstances.

4. Booking, Payments & Setup Fees

  • All bookings must be made in advance through the approved booking system.
  • A Golfstars setup fee, where applicable, is a one-off, non-refundable payment and includes the Golfstars starter kit and onboarding into the programme.
  • Termly fees must be paid in full unless a payment plan has been agreed in advance.

5. Cancellations, Refunds & Missed Sessions

  • Golfstars does not offer refunds for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or personal circumstances.
  • If Golfstars cancels a session, a credit or replacement session will be offered where possible.
  • Refunds are not provided for early withdrawal from a programme.

6. Programme Changes

  • Golfstars reserves the right to amend session times, venues, coaches, or programme structure where required.
  • Any significant changes will be communicated in advance wherever possible.

7. Photography & Video

  • Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for coaching, marketing, and promotional purposes.
  • Consent preferences must be selected at the time of booking.
  • Images will be used responsibly and in line with GDPR guidelines.

8. Liability

  • Golfstars takes all reasonable steps to ensure sessions are safe and well supervised.
  • Participation is at the child’s own risk, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
  • Golfstars is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to sessions.

9. Data Protection (GDPR)

  • Personal data is collected solely for the purpose of programme delivery, communication, and safeguarding.
  • Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required.

10. Force Majeure

  • Golfstars will not be liable for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond its control, including extreme weather, venue closure, or government restrictions.

11. Acceptance of Terms

  • By completing a booking, parents/guardians confirm they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  • Golfstars reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will apply.
