The Golfstars After-School Club is a fun, engaging introduction to golf designed specifically for primary aged children. Sessions focus on developing fundamental movement skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, and confidence through age-appropriate games and activities. Children are introduced to basic golf skills such as putting, chipping, and striking, using child-friendly equipment in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions are inclusive and suitable for all abilities, with no previous golf experience required. Alongside physical skills, the club promotes teamwork, listening, patience, and respect, helping children grow socially as well as physically. Delivered by trained Golfstars coaches, the programme provides a positive first experience of golf. For children who particularly enjoy the sessions and would like to explore golf further, the club also offers a gentle introduction to the wider Golfstars pathway, with information available for families interested in continuing outside of school.
